Pendref, Denbigh

New homes being built in Denbigh will provide around 100 jobs including apprenticeships, Castle Green Partnerships has confirmed.

  • 110 homes

  • Residential development

  • 80 affordable | 30 private rent

Castle Green Partnerships is working with Bangor based housing association Adra to deliver 110 homes on land adjacent to Ysgol Pendref on Gwaenynog Road under its Partnerships operation.

The scheme will provide 80 affordable homes and 30 for private rent.

Work started in February 2023 and is scheduled to be complete by February 2025.

Partnerships director at Castle Green Homes Eoin O’Donnell said: “As part of our agreement with Adra we have social value targets to meet of around 100 jobs for this specific site, which includes encouraging our subcontractors to offer apprenticeship opportunities on the site. In this way we hope to offer benefits to the wider community in addition to the provision of much needed modern fuel-efficient affordable homes. “

Adra director of development Daniel Parry added: “The partnership with Castle Green is helping us make key strides towards our target of building 750 homes by 2025. The Denbigh scheme will be a welcome boost to the area, increasing the options available locally. There is a real demand for high quality, energy efficient new homes in this part of North Wales and we are looking forward to welcoming residents to those properties.”
